Meet The Team
Nikki Markim
Owner / Principal Architect
Raised in Texas, based in New York, flying out to Colorado as much as possible.
Nikki is a licensed architect and registered interior designer who found her love of design freshman year of high school, when her parents let her pick out the finishes for her bathroom in their new home in the Hill Country. That design love led her to the little local college, the University of Texas at Austin (Hook ‘em!), where she graduated, ready to change the world. She has been on the go ever since, moving from Austin to Dallas, Philadelphia, and now NYC. Following ten years of collaborating with a number of incredible architects on a variety of project types, Nikki took a strategic step out on her own to get back to designing beautiful bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, wine cellars, and more.
After a revelationary hike on Vail Mountain - specifically the Kinnickinnick Sunlight Trail, Kinnik Architecture was born.
